What are the cushions made of?
All of our seat cushions start with a base of medium to extra firm foam and then are wrapped with your choice of materials to create the right seating experience. Back Cushions are Dacron. The correct choice for you will depend on what is most comfortable, how you will use the sofa, and what you’d like to spend.
Do the different cushion densities wear differently?
No, all of our high quality cushions carry the same guarantee (see our warranty section) So, select the density you find most comfortable for your use and feel comfortable that it will last!
Will a bench style seat wear differently than individual seat cushions?
While there may be differences in feel, it really comes down to preference. A bench seat (one long cushion, covering the entire sofa seat) may feel firmer because you don’t have breaks between seats. Bench style seat cushions are great because no one ever has to “sit on the crack” and they make a great spot to nap. The only down side to a bench cushion is it will be more expensive to replace if it gets damaged from misuse by pets or kids.

How our sofas are made?
Our sofas are made with only kiln dried solid woods. We use no particle board or plywood. Joints are blocked, screwed and glued. Springs are 8 gauge steel sinuous springs and run front to back. The springs are clipped with a movable connector into the Alder Wood framing. The springs are tied together for durability and stability. Our sofa frames are guaranteed to be free from defects for the life of the sofa.
